The general theme reflected in the art direction for this experience stems from the history and legacy of Nintendos Mario. Mario has grown up in the digital age and each poster signifies a different period in which the character Mario has reached new heights.

The Space
This space is meant to intrigue visitors with an immersive and exciting experience inspired by the beloved character Mario. This experience is both an exhibition dedicated to learning about the development of the character. The space makes use of technology as an ide to the evolution and constant reinvention of the character throughout these phases of technological advancement.
The Experience
The art direction behind this 3D experience aims at offering visitors the option of selecting their favourite Mario avatar and customizing it to their liking. As a tribute to the theme of this experience 'The Legacy of Mario' through the ages, the customizations options innitially allow you to choose what time period your would like your avatar to be. Once ready with their customizations, visitors step into a VR simulator where the visitors movements are monitored and reflected in their avatar.
