Niagara Magazine Design
The restricted color palate is intended to create a specific unity between the elements used in this layout. The yellow color is inspired by sunny Niagara and is used sparingly, offering a unique and subtle contrast compared to the black and white subtitles and body copy. Additionally, the images add a pop of color to each layout. These images are a combination of stock and personal images taken on location in Niagara.

The Design
By breaking up the text into sections and dividing them with images, this helps the reader better navigate the flow of each spread. Titles and subtitles are used to create a hierarchy within the design, allowing the reader to sift through information more easily. While the white space allows for each section to stand out on its own without overcrowding each element
Project Goal
From its vibrant complimentary hues to the painterly James stroker typeface, the general nature of this design aims to evoke a sense of excitement and intrigue. Together, these components provide a dynamic layout that reflects the clean and welcoming atmosphere of the Niagara region.
